Revaho Corporate History.
In 1937 the ‘Van Holstein’ family launched an irrigation
installation company, (in fact the Revaho name is made up of
the first letters from ‘REgeninstallaties VAn Holstein’,
which translates as ‘Van Holstein irrigation systems’), in
the Netherlands, focussing on the fledgling glasshouse market.
In later years Revaho made the successful transition to wholesaling
irrigation materials and innovating the dutch market. A few of
Revaho’s early accomplishments are:
- First to use electric solenoids and
controllers in the 50’s.
- First to use Pin jet sprinklers in
glasshouse irrigation in the 70’s
- Pioneers of the use of PVC pipes and
fittings in irrigation during the 70’s.
- Introduced Netafim drippers to the
glasshouse market in the 70’s
- Introduced non leakage drip systems
for substrate growing in the 90’s.
Revaho today is an international group of companies with offices
in The Netherlands, the UK, Romania and Korea. From these centres
irrigation technology and materials are supplied throughout northern
and eastern Europe as well as the Far East. Polyethylene pipes
are produced in Revaho’s factory, NAFF. Sizes from 3 – 315mm
are produced in a variety of standards to meet the requirements
of irrigation, municipal water supply and gas transfer.

has been the key to Revaho UK’s success with introductions
such as:
- First to use re-usable pressure compensated
drip lines in Field Scale agriculture, early 90’s.
- Introduced self cleaning screen filters
to the irrigation market during 90’s
- Introduced sprinkler design software
to facilitate planning of highly uniform irrigation systems in
the 90’s.
- First to commercially re-use thin wall drip lines in field
scale agriculture. 2004.
