On the 9th of August, Revaho UK exhibited at the 2007 Potatoes in Practice show, located in Inver Gowrie, Scotland. On display we had the Andros one-pass drip retrieval system. This machine is revolutionising the way in which subsurface drip lines are retrieved from the land. The unique control system matches extraction speed to tractor speed, and controls pulling tension, gently extracting the drip line thorugh soil or crop vegetation. Retreiving drip lines in this manner complies with new government waste regulations that stipulate used drip lines can only be stored for up to 12 months. Using the Andros machine to collect the used lines facillitates recycling and re-use. the cost of using higher quality drip lines can also be offset over multi-season use. Firthermore, by using Andros' machine, you can reduce the waste disposal and labour costs normally associated with collecting used drip lines. The tractor mounted apparatus can be used by a single operator, allowing the rest of the workforce to concentrate on other matters.
