Revaho UK recently opened the doors to our NAFF production facility in Ruchphen Holland where we manufacture our new range of SportsProPlus PE pipe.  As ever, production manager Frank Vanobbergen was on hand to guide visitors around the facility and he also took time out of his busy schedule to give an informative talk on the intracacies of PE pipe.  

During the course of the day we visited the Quality Control department which ensures that only the best materials are used for the production of Sportspro Plus.  Three samples from every production run are put through a traction test which requires 350% elongation as a minimum.  SportsPro Plus exceeds this level by some margin as can be seen in the photo opposite where Peter demonstrates the amount of strain that SportsPro Plus can withstand.  This makes SportsPro Plus one of the toughest PE pipes currently on the market.

Of particular interest was the “tug of war” between the newly developed Sportspro Bullet and the traditional Moleing system.  Needless to say it was a convincing victory for the bullet which showed that in a head to head test the Bullet could withstand a higher level of stress thanks to its shear bolt system and innovative grip system.

Also worthy of note is the new pipe extrusion line which allows SporstProPlus to be produced in different sizes and run lengths which will reduce the amount of time it takes to fulfill orders of SportPro Plus.
