Anglia Salads are one of the foremost producers of leafy salads for the UK supermarkets and other outlets.
In conjunction with Darran Grieveson from New Leaf Irrigation they have installed three Amiad SAF filters to clean water from their reservoir prior to treatment with an ultra violet unit.
The water is pumped from the reservoir with a 120m3/hr pump through the filters which clean the water to 25 microns and then into the UV unit from where it is piped to the sprinkler irrigation system.
The filtration units are capable of dealing with 100m3/hr of water throughput which is the maximum requirement at any given time
