New Farm produce recently installed a Netafim Netajet Irrigation Control System which was supplied by Aquaplast Irrigation and commissioned by Bridge Greenhouses Ltd.
New farm produce grow strawberries and raspberries in traditional raised beds and now in substrate. The move to substrate growing has required particular emphasis being placed on fertigation.
The Netajet constantly monitors ec and pH and can choose from any one of eight stock tanks in any combination. The NMC Control panel on the rig can control any combination of fertiliser, pH and ec for up to 40 valves in the field.
