Work is nearing completion an the new irrigation system at Elsham Golf Club near Brigg. The system has been designed by Adrian Mortram of RHA Ltd Irrigation Consultants in association with the STRI.
Hunter Irrigation equipment has been chosen by the club because of it's reputation ofr strength and efficiency. Course manager Colin Hopper has been impressed by Hunter for a number of years and when the opportunity to install a new system arose, Hunter was the brand at the top of his list.
The system is being installed by Full Circle Irrigation, and is being being overseen by Managing Director Robert George. Full Circle have been working very closely with the Greenkeepers. Club manager Mr Tim Hartley has been particularly impressed woth the high standard of work. The Club members have also felt comfortable in approaching the engineers with their questions.
The full scheme of greens, tees, approaches and some fairway sprinklers is due to be finished by the end of February.
